The Cherry Song

I love Cherry Blossoms.

I read from a book on Japan that the younger Cherry blossoms bloom later in the season. The older ones are pink, while the younger ones are white -- purer.

Isn't that so poetic?

For the Japanese, Hanami (Cherry Blossoms viewing) is part of their culture. It's a big-to-do for them. No surprise that my favourite J-band has made a song out of it: Sakurake Sake (The Cherry Blossoms Are Blooming). Here's the video with English subs.

My favourite line in the song: Don't look back because tomorrow is not right behind you.

So true!
