Ohayo!
Hajimemashite!
I'm learning some Japanese phrases courtesy of a phrasebook I bought yesterday.
I know, I should be practicing Korean, after all, I'm on my way to Seoul in a week or so from now. But I'll just borrow my Korean from Kaytee.
And with all this Japanese business, I decided to put up a blog, After all, I have been blogging a lot of Yipon, from politics to food and of course, to my current obsession, music. Or to be more precise, Arashi.
Last night, Kaytee called to tell me that Arashi will be having a two-night concert in Seoul on Nov 11-12. WTF! I almost could not focus on my upcoming trip to Seoul because of this latest development. I could not move my flight anymore since this ticket was bought from the trade fair! My mind is going on overdrive on how to be back in Seoul that time.
I must, I need to see Arashi in concert. From what I have seen on video, they always put up a good show and it would be a fun experience. Besides, this is on top of my pop mission in life -- to see them in concert. So think, think Yuki (that's my Japanese name, as opposed to Yupki, which is my Korean name)! Yuki means snow (not that it actually applies to any of my attributes from complexion to purity).
In the meantime, let me sharpen my Japanese knowledge. The better to understand Arashi's songs that are forever on playback in my iPod.
Ja, mata!
